Mr. Myint Thein

Mr. Myint Thein is a domestic advisor in Bagan Vision Institute (BVI). He worked as Head of Department, Department of Strategic Study under Ministry of Defense for years. Mr. Myint Thein is also Former Military Attaché to China PRC, and Republic of Korea before he retired from his career. He has many experiences of participating in, and contributing to international strategic meetings, and conferences related to defence and security issues. He used to lead Myanmar defence and security scholars in participating “Track II Network of ASEAN Defence and Security Institutions” (NADI), where Myanmar contribute to regional peace, security and stability. His professional experience, and career background of defence diplomacy and strategic planning fields highly encourage our institute for the further journey of cooperation and cooperation with other regional institutes.
